How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Courier to your door is FREE for all orders over R799 in our New Guitar Parts and Accessories section. 2nd hand items will not qualify for free shipping but you will be able to see the costs before checkout, it all depends on the size and weight of the item. If you are unable to accept delivery during working hours you can choose to collect from your nearest Pudo or Postnet outlet and you can collect in your own time. Please specify the details of your preferred Pudo locker or Postnet branch in your delivery address on checkout. If you do not, we will send to the closest one we can find to your address.
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1: Processing: Since everything we sell is in stock, in South Africa, our processing time is quick. generally we take no longer than 1 working day to pack process your order after payment has been received. Please allow 2 working day processing time for Postnet as we physically have to drive to a branch to drop your order. All orders are in an automatic queuing system, sometimes we are very busy and there may be a lot of orders before yours and we can not process it the same day payment has been received, it will be done the next day.
Step 2: Courier booking and Tracking: Once your order has been packed we can book the collection with one of our trusted couriers, we use a few companies and will choose the best one for your area. Usually it will be The Courier Guy, Skynet or Dawn Wing, which ever has the shortest lead time for your area. You will receive a tracking number automatically as soon as we place the collection, this will go to the email you used to place your order, please check your spam folder if this is not in your inbox.
Step 3: Delivery: After your order has been processed and handed over to our couriers it can take anywhere between 1 – 3 working days before delivery takes place, depending on your city. Sometimes it may take longer for rural or outlaying areas. Please make sure you give a clear delivery address on checkout including your House/Building number, Street Name, Suburb Name, Town and Postal Code. Our couriers need all of these and will not be able to deliver without it. Please make sure you or somebody is available at the address to accept the parcel. Couriers only work Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, delivery after hours or weekends is not possible. If you have an queries regarding the date or time of your delivery please contact the courier directly and give your tracking number as reference. If the courier tries to deliver and nobody is available to accept delivery we will be charged for a failed delivery attempt and the parcel will be returned back to us, we will be charged again for the re-delivery too so please make sure you give all the correct details and are available during the week to accept delivery.
If you are in Cape Town and your order is placed early enough you may receive it the same day, other main cites usually takes 2 working days and outlying areas 3 working days or more.
All orders are packed safely using cardboard boxes and/or Bubble Wrap with fragile stickers. We have yet to have a parcel arrive at our customer damaged, but if you ever receive a parcel that is damaged please do not accept it, rather have the courier return it to us for assessment.
