The wah pedal is a pedalboard staple, and the Vox V845 puts this classic effect under your feet at a price that’s sure to put a smile on your face. Spec’d to emulate Vox’s ’60s-era original, the V845 ups the ante with a 9-volt power supply input, eliminating the need for a battery. You also get a durable all-black coated finish that’s built to withstand a lifetime of stomping and rocking. If you want to duplicate classic Cream- and Hendrix-esque wah-wah effects, the Vox V845 is the right tool for the job.
Vox — inventor of the wah
Vox developed the first wah-wah effect during the 1960s in order to enable guitarists to emulate the sound of a muted trumpet. The unique sonic characteristics of Vox’s original wah pedal subsequently became immensely widespread, thanks to pioneering guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and others. Today, the wah is as popular as ever — you’ll see nary a single pedalboard here at Music Experience without a wah pedal on it. It’s a must-have piece of gear.
What Vox Says…
Based on the specifications of the original pedal developed by VOX in the ’60s, the V845 Wah-Wah offers guitarists the same legendary Wah-Wah tone in a new sturdy but very affordable design. An AC power connector is fitted to save on batteries and the outer case is coated with tough all-black finish making it the perfect choice for your pedal board.
